Auditions are open to ages 10-99+.No prior acting experience required.
Actors should prepare approximately 2 minutes for a vocal audition (a song) that they will perform at the start of the auditions. Actors should bring a backing track (the background music, with no vocals - think karaoke) that can be played on their own device during the auditions
It's recommended that actors should choose songs suitable for musical theatre and rather than contemporary songs like you'd hear on the radio; and the song selection should be one that highlight's the actor's voice. The vocal director will also have each actor sing scales to determine their vocal range.
Songs from "Annie" are allowed as vocal auditions.
Once all vocal auditions are complete, the stage director will have actors deliver scene readings from the musical, placing them in groups and assigning a character from that scene. They'll have a chance to review the scenes briefly before performing them, but the scenes do not need to be memorized. There will be several rounds, with actors having the chance to read multiple characters in different scenes. The director will do their best to give each actor the opportunity to read for a specific character they want to be considered for at least once, time permitting.

Sign-up is optional and walk-ins are welcome. Signing up helps the directors have a sense of how many people will be attending; and auditions can also choose to attend an audition day that has fewer people signed-up, you so choose.

Actors should try to arrive as close to the start of the audition times as possible, to better ensure they are able to perform their vocal audition and do scene readings alongside the other actors.
